The Omega Seamaster Professional 300M “Peter Blake” is one of the most sought-after versions of the Seamaster generation that defined the 90s and early 2000s. Its name refers to the legendary New Zealand sailor Sir Peter Blake, whose relationship with Omega and the sailing world ended up inspiring this especially sporty configuration.
This unit corresponds to the reference 2254.50.00, one of the most recognizable configurations of this generation. Unlike the blue-dial Seamaster Bond, the “Peter Blake” opts for an all-black aesthetic, with a matte black dial, luminescent indices, and sword-style hands, offering a look much closer to that of an authentic tool watch.
Its 41 mm steel case and the characteristic black dive bezel complete a balanced and very comfortable set on the wrist. The helium escape valve at 10 o'clock and its 300-meter water resistance remind us that, despite its aesthetic appeal, we are dealing with a watch originally conceived as a professional diving instrument.
