The Cartier Tank Must is one of the most recognizable reinterpretations of the legendary Cartier Tank. During the 1970s, the Maison revisited the essential lines of the original design and brought them to a new generation of watches that maintained the characteristic elegance of the Tank, but with a more contemporary approach.
This example corresponds to reference 3 and stands out especially for its black lacquered dial, with a deep finish reminiscent of the look of an onyx dial. The absence of unnecessary elements further enhances the geometric lines of the case and creates a very characteristic aesthetic within the Tank Must collection.
The case is crafted from 925 silver, subsequently covered with a 20-micron gold layer, following the characteristic construction of these pieces. The result is a case with the warm appearance of gold and the slim, elegant proportions that define the Tank.
