The Cartier Santos-Dumont is one of the fundamental designs in Cartier’s history. Born at the beginning of the 20th century from a commission by aviator Alberto Santos-Dumont, it was conceived to allow for checking the time during flight and became one of the Maison's first wristwatches.
This piece, dated December 2023, features the classic small-size steel case, with proportions of 38 × 27.5 mm and a thickness of just 7.3 mm. Its slim profile and geometric lines make it an especially elegant and comfortable piece on the wrist.
The silvered sunray-finished dial is one of the model's most characteristic elements.
